    Trump Considering Pardon For Samourai Wallet’s Rodriguez

    President Donald Trump stated he’ll evaluation the case of Keonne Rodriguez, co-founder of Samourai Pockets, as questions mount over the federal conviction of the Bitcoin privateness software program developer. 

    When requested about Rodriguez’s upcoming jail sentence, Trump stated, “I’ve heard about it. I’ll take a look at it.”

    “I don’t know something about it,” President Trump stated. “However we’ll have a look.” 

    Rodriguez publicly acknowledged Trump’s sentiment, tweeting “Your continued noise is working. Thanks to everybody pushing @realDonaldTrump to pardon Invoice and me. Let’s get this over the road. #pardonsamourai”

    Rodriguez, together with co-founder William “Invoice” Hill, was convicted of conspiracy to function an unlicensed cash transmitting enterprise, a cost stemming from Samourai Pockets, a Bitcoin privateness software that allowed customers to combine cash and preserve monetary anonymity with out giving up custody of their funds.
